ICMA's new certificate program is a huge success!  Sandy Stapczynski and Carol Granfield were tapped to teach and provide program content for Course 3 of LG101 - Human Resources a three-part series (Session 1 - Human Resources and Staff Effectiveness; Session 2 - Recruitment and Hiring of Employees; Session 3 - Compensation, Classification and Performance).  This is a key component of ICMA's Local Government 101 Certification Program, and was conducted live during the month of April.  See more here about LG101:  What_is_Local_Government_101_-_Slide_Presentation.pdf

It's an online certificate program designed to immerse you in the special challenges that confront the local government manager today.  It is now available "on demand" which makes it convenient for practitioners.  The LG101 program also features special appearances from managers and human resources directors from throughout the country who provide practical insight.
