Human Resources Services, Inc. consultants conducted a comprehensive Human Resource Audit of the Lowell Public Schools and presented their findings and recommendations to the Acting Superintendent of Schools and the Personnel Subcommittee of the School Committee at a televised public meeting.  The school committee has set the wheels-in-motion to now begin recruitment for an HR Director who will provide the needed leadership to build a new HR Department from the ground up.  The HR Audit will serve as a blueprint as they move forward.  Lowell public schools is one of the largest school districts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with 3,000 employees housed in 30 buildings throughout the City.
