HRS concluded its total compensation study for the Town of Arlington, MA (Town/Schools). Just six miles outside of Boston, Arlington is approximately 48,000 population.  This is the third time the Town has contracted with HRS for such an in-depth town-wide study which provides not only a comprehensive analysis and comparison including compensation, other pay, and benefits, but also an historical benchmark of data compared to past years. The 150 page HRS report consisting of narrative, data, comparisons, and graphs has been provided to Arlington's town/school department heads, human resource departments, unions, select board, town manager and superintendent of schools.  The information in the HRS report will serve as a tool in negotiating and setting competitive compensation/benefits for employees.
