MPA Program at UMass Boston focuses on Municipal Manager's Track

Posted Feb 16, 2016 by: Sandy

The University of Massachusetts Boston has launched its new Master of Public Administration Program!  As their flyer announces, "The face of public service in Massachusetts is changing, 20-25% of city managers and top administrative officers are expected to retire in the next decade, creating a leadership void across the 351 local governments in the Commonwealth..."   The Future Managers Committee of the MMMA worked with the UMass Boston Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies to initiate the MPA Program being offered at UMass Boston.  If you know of any undergraduates or mid-career professionals interested in a career in local government or public service, please encourage them to consider UMass Boston.  For more information, please go to:  www.publicaffairs.umb.edu
